Today's mushroom is a doublepage from a japanese book on flowers and plants from the 19th century. I put it in here to illustrate my growing interest in the art of japanese woodblock prints. Collecting these beautiful prints also inspired me to take the daily routine of painting a mushroom, branching into different series over the months.
